"WELCOME TO NSCAS"

The Nova Scotia Cowboy Action Shooting Club is an affiliated member of the Single Action Shooting Society, SASS, which is an international organization, created to preserve and promote the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. SASS and NSCAS members share a common interest in preserving the history of the Old West and competitive shooting.

The main purpose of the Nova Scotia Cowboy Action Shooting Club is to promote the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting as a safe, fun family activity.  This was/is accomplished by providing local gun clubs direction and assistance when attempting to start a new Cowboy Action Shooting program.  We are also an information resource that helps recruit and encourage new shooters to join clubs with currently active Cowboy Action Shooting sections.  We accomplish these goals while emphasizing the, “Spirit of the Game” and the, “Cowboy Way” as our guiding philosophy.
